Moses with the tablet of the Ten Commandments. Still from Cecil B. DeMille’s film, THE TEN COMMANDMENTS.
As expected of his insatiable enmity with the Catholic Church – the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of truth (cf 1 Tm 3:15) – Rodimus, alias Gerry Soliman, a Born Again Protestant, came out with another attack that backfires on him and his man-made sham persuasion.
In his blog entitled Numbering the Ten Commandments (click here), he said:
Numbering the Ten Commandments
It is often argued between Roman Catholics and Evangelicals on how the Ten (10) Commandments in Exodus 20 (and Deuteronomy 5) should be numbered.  Evangelicals often assert that the Roman Catholic Church hides the prohibition of making graven images from the list so as not to make their idolatry obvious.  Roman Catholics argue that the prohibition of having other gods and making graven images are the same commandments.  The numbering of the Roman Catholic Church ends with the prohibition of coveting a neighbor’s wife and goods as two separate commandments.
The Apostle Paul accounts for 4:
The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”  Romans 13:9
Notice that Paul simply said, “You shall not covet” with no indication of separation between the neighbor’s goods and the neighbor’s wife. Therefore, it is wrong to separate them.
That leaves us with two other commandments concerning human relations: “Honor your father and mother” and “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.”  Fortunately, the Roman Catholics will not object giving each one a slot in the numbering of the commandments.  That now accounts for six commandments.
So that leaves 4 commandments to account for.  Reading Exodus 20:3-11, how can the Roman Catholics say that the prohibition of other gods and making graven images should be merged as one?  That would only make it 3 commandments and they still lack one.  They can have 10 commandments only if they won’t follow how Paul rendered the coveting prohibition.  Will they disagree with Paul?

Before accusing the Catholic Church, Rodimus, alias Gerry Soliman should have first accused the apostate ex-Catholic priest Martin Luther (cf 2 Thes 2:3; 1 Jn 2:18-19), the founder of their church/religion/fellowship/sect/denomination/cult and whatnot (cf Rev 2:9, 3:9), of the same trifle.
Obviously, Rodimus, alias Gerry Soliman has no knowledge of the catechism of their father, Martin Luther.  So, let us educate this Born Again Protestant in the hope of lessening his idiotic boo-boos.

The Second Commandment
You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God.

The Third Commandment
Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.
What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not despise preaching and His Word, but hold it sacred and gladly hear and learn it.
The Fourth Commandment
Honor your father and your mother.
What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not despise or anger our parents and other authorities, but honor them, serve and obey them, love and cherish them.
The Fifth Commandment
You shall not murder.
What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not hurt or harm our neighbor in his body, but help and support him in every physical need.
The Sixth Commandment
You shall not commit adultery.
What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we lead a sexually pure and decent life in what we say and do, and husband and wife love and honor each other.
 The Seventh Commandment
You shall not steal.
What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not take our neighbor’s money or possessions, or get them in any dishonest way, but help him to improve and protect his possessions and income.
The Eighth Commandment
You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not tell lies about our neighbor, betray him, slander him, or hurt his reputation, but defend him, speak well of him, and explain everything in the kindest way.
The Ninth Commandment
You shall not covet your neighbor’s house.
What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not scheme to get our neighbor’s inheritance or house, or get it in a way which only appears right, but help and be of service to him in keeping it.
The Tenth Commandment
You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.
What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not entice or force away our neighbor’s wife, workers, or animals, or turn them against him, but urge them to stay and do their duty.

Methinks, Rodimus, alias Gerry Soliman thought his thought is higher than the thought of the apostate Martin Luther, the founding father of their false group.
