The Divinity of Jesus Christ Revealed
Jesus the Creator born of Mary
Before anything else existed, there was Christ, with God. He has always been alive and is himself God. He created everything there is—nothing exists that he didn’t make. But although he made the world, the world didn’t recognize him when he came. And Christ became a human being and lived here on earth among us and was full of loving forgiveness and truth. And some of us have seen his glory—the glory of the only Son of the heavenly Father!  (JN 1:1-3, 10, 14, The Living Bible)

THE WORD (CHRIST) BEFORE HE BECAME FLESH
• The Word (Christ) coexists with God from eternity:
JN 1:1-2, 18 Before anything else existed, there was Christ, with God. He has always been alive and is himself God.
No one has ever actually seen God, but, of course, his only Son has, for he is the companion of the Father and has told us all about him.  (The Living Bible)
JN 1:1-2, 18 In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.  He was present originally with God.
No man has ever seen God at any time; the only unique Son, or the only begotten God, Who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence] of the Father, He has declared Him [He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known].  (Amplified Bible)
• The Word (Christ) was also positively identified as Christ, the Word of life, by St. John:
1 JN 1:1-3 Christ was alive when the world began, yet I myself have seen him with my own eyes and listened to him speak. I have touched him with my own hands. He is God’s message of life.  This one who is life from God has been shown to us, and we guarantee that we have seen him; I am speaking of Christ, who is eternal Life. He was with the Father and then was shown to us.  Again I say, we are telling you about what we ourselves have actually seen and heard, so that you may share the fellowship and the joys we have with the Father and with Jesus Christ his son.  (TLB)
1 JN 1:1-3 We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands.  He is the Word of life.  This one who is life itself was revealed to us, and we have seen him. And now we testify and proclaim to you that he is the one who is eternal life. He was with the Father, and then he was revealed to us.  We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.  (New Living Translation)
• The Word (Christ) aka the Son was called God twice and Lord who made the earth and the heavens by God the Father Himself:
HEB 1:7-12 God (The Father) speaks of his angels as messengers swift as the wind and as servants made of flaming fire; but of his Son he says, “Your Kingdom, O God (Son), will last forever and ever; its commands are always just and right.  You love right and hate wrong; so God (Son), even your God (Father), has poured out more gladness upon you than on anyone else.”  God (The Father) also called him “Lord” when he said, “Lord (Son), in the beginning you made the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.  They will disappear into nothingness, but you will remain forever. They will become worn out like old clothes, and some day you will fold them up and replace them. But you yourself will never change, and your years will never end.”  (TLB, emphases mine)
• The Word (Christ) aka the Son created everything there is:
JN 1:1-3, 10 Before anything else existed, there was Christ, with God. He has always been alive and is himself God.  He created everything there is—nothing exists that he didn’t make.
But although he made the world, the world didn’t recognize him when he came.  (TLB)
COL 1:15-17 Christ is the exact likeness of the unseen God.  He existed before God made anything at all, and, in fact, Christ himself is the Creator who made everything in heaven and earth, the things we can see and the things we can’t; the spirit world with its kings and kingdoms, its rulers and authorities; all were made by Christ for his own use and glory.  He was before all else began and it is his power that holds everything together.  (TLB)

AND THE WORD (CHRIST) AKA THE SON BECAME FLESH
• When the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth the Word (Christ) aka the Son to the Blessed Virgin Mary to be born of her:
GAL 4:4 But when the right time came, the time God decided on, he sent his Son, born of a woman, born as a Jew, (TLB)
• The Word (Christ) aka the Son partook of the flesh and blood of Mary to become a human being:
HEB 2:14 Since we, God’s children, are human beings—made of flesh and blood—he became flesh and blood too by being born in human form; for only as a human being could he die and in dying break the power of the devil who had the power of death.  (TLB)
HEB 2:14 Since, therefore, [these His] children share in flesh and blood [in the physical nature of human beings], He [Himself] in a similar manner partook of the same [nature], that by [going through] death He might bring to nought and make of no effect him who had the power of death—that is, the devil—  (AMP)
JN 1:1-3, 14 Before anything else existed, there was Christ, with God. He has always been alive and is himself God.  He created everything there is—nothing exists that he didn’t make.
And Christ became a human being and lived here on earth among us and was full of loving forgiveness and truth. And some of us have seen his glory—the glory of the only Son of the heavenly Father!  (TLB)
• The Word (Christ) aka the Son who was God Himself became manifested in the flesh:
1TM 3:16 And great and important and weighty, we confess, is the hidden truth (the mystic secret) of godliness. He [God] was made visible in human flesh, justified and vindicated in the [Holy] Spirit, was seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, [and] taken up in glory.  (AMP)
1TM 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.  (King James Version)
• The Word (Christ) aka the Son who made the earth and the heavens and everything there is became the Man-God:
1JN 5:20 And we know that Christ, God’s Son, has come to help us understand and find the true God. And now we are in God because we are in Jesus Christ his Son, who is the only true God; and he is eternal Life.  (TLB)
PHIL 2:5-7 Your attitude should be the kind that was shown us by Jesus Christ, who, though he was God, did not demand and cling to his rights as God, but laid aside his mighty power and glory, taking the disguise of a slave and becoming like men.  (TLB)

SIDE ISSUES
• The preceding discussion proves that the Blessed Virgin Mary is indeed the mother of God in human flesh, the God who made the earth and the heavens and everything there is, eternities before He became the Man-God in the immaculate womb of Mary:
MT 1:18-23 These are the facts concerning the birth of Jesus Christ: His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But while she was still a virgin she became pregnant by the Holy Spirit.  Then Joseph, her fiancé, being a man of stern principle, decided to break the engagement but to do it quietly, as he didn’t want to publicly disgrace her.  As he lay awake considering this, he fell into a dream, and saw an angel standing beside him. “Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “don’t hesitate to take Mary as your wife! For the child within her has been conceived by the Holy Spirit.  And she will have a Son, and you shall name him Jesus (meaning ‘Savior’), for he will save his people from their sins.  This will fulfill God’s message through his prophets—
‘Listen! The virgin shall conceive a child! She shall give birth to a Son, and he shall be called “Emmanuel” (meaning “God is with us”).’”  (TLB)
PHIL 2:5-7 Your attitude should be the kind that was shown us by Jesus Christ, who, though he was God, did not demand and cling to his rights as God, but laid aside his mighty power and glory, taking the disguise of a slave and becoming like men.  (TLB)
COL 2:9 For in Christ there is all of God in a human body; (TLB)
1JN 5:20 And we [have seen and] know [positively] that the Son of God has [actually] come to this world and has given us understanding and insight [progressively] to perceive (recognize) and come to know better and more clearly Him Who is true; and we are in Him Who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah). This [Man] is the true God and Life eternal.  (AMP)
• Lamentably, as the end of time is nearing, there are still people who do not recognize that it was Jesus Christ (the Word aka the Son who was God Himself) who made the world:
JN 1:10-12 But although he made the world, the world didn’t recognize him when he came.  Even in his own land and among his own people, the Jews, he was not accepted. Only a few would welcome and receive him. But to all who received him, he gave the right to become children of God. All they needed to do was to trust him to save them.  (TLB)
• Today, beside the Jews who did not accept Him, there are also manmade religions which do not recognize that it was Jesus Christ (the Word aka the Son who was God Himself) who made the world and these are the following: 622 AD Islam of Muhammad; 1830 Mormon Church of Joseph Smith; 1872 Jehovah’s Witnesses of Charles Taze Russell; 1914 Iglesia ni Cristo of Felix Manalo; etcetera.
