Antichrists deny Mary is the Mother of God

- Dean Militar Ancheta Mary is NOT the mother of God. God has no beginning. She did not give birth to God himself instead She just gave birth to Jesus as a man. God used her so that Jesus or God would take Human Form. But taking into account that Jesus is God, God has no mother. If God had a mother she would have been co-existed with God from the very beginning and taking also into account that Mary herself was a creation of God, so that means, God created Mary to be His mother in order for Him to exist? No! God created Mary in order for Him to take Human form and come to this world. Mary may be the biological mother of Jesus as man, but she cannot be the Mother of Jesus as God.
- DeJayaun McCloud Mary is the mother of God because Jesus is God John 1:1, Colossians 2:9, and Philippians 2:5-6. Jesus had 2 natures and He was 100% man and 100% God. Still He is a divine person. Mothers can’t give birth to nature but to persons. Therfore Jesus is a person a divine person. His mother gave birth to God. What we mean by mother of God its the 2nd person of the Trinity not God the Father.
- Dean Militar Ancheta Yes. I know that Jesus is God. but the logic of your argument is contradicting the ONENESS of the Trinity. The Father, The Son, And the Holy Spirit are all one God but in three personas. If you’re saying that Mary is the Mother of Jesus as God, You are also concluding that Mary is the Mother of God the Father. Mary cannot be a mother of Jesus as God, because Jesus EXISTED from the very beginning, before the earth was even created and before Mary was born. JESUS existed without Mary from the beginning. If you’re saying that Mary is the Mother of GOD, you are also saying that Jesus never existed before Mary because if it wasn’t for Mary, GOD the SON would’ve been never born. If you could give me a Bible Verse that says that we SHOULD pray to Mary and other saints, I’ll shut up.
- DeJayaun McCloud I never said Jesus had not beginning. He always existed John 17:5, but how did He come into the world as the Word made flesh? He came through the virgin birh in His divinity. If you say Mary is the mother of His human nature then you take away His divinity as well. The logic is that Jesus God who is eternal and came forth into the world as His person,divine. Hence she is the mother of God. Second What does 1 Timothy 2:1 says, First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, the saints in heaven hear our prayers as you seen in Revelation 5:8. They are not dead people but alive as we see Moses and Eljah in Matthew 17. We all praying to God who is Spirit in Spirit and in truth John 4:24

- Aquino Bayani Mary is not the mother of God if Jesus is purely human. But the truth was God infused His Spirit who is God Himself into the Humanity of Jesus at the moment of His Divine Conception, ergo she is the mother of God.
