Since, therefore, [these His] children share in flesh and blood [in the physical nature of human beings], He [Himself] in a similar manner partook of the same [nature], that by [going through] death He might bring to nought and make of no effect him who had the power of death—that is, the devil— (Hebrews 2:14, Amplified Bible) And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth. [Gi Mae Martinez Ianessa Ramirez you have said it yourself. You talked about a council declaring Mary as the mother of God. THAT ALONE IS ADMITTING YOUR CATHOLIC EVIL DESIRE TO EQUATE YOUR CATHOLIC MARY AS GOD. A mere human could not give birth to a GOD. A being called as a parent of a GOD, must also be a GOD. There!!! CATHOLIC BLASPHEMY TO THE HIGHEST CORE!!!]

Here is my refutation of Gi Mae Martinez’ ignorance and arrogance anent the mother of God title of Mary:
[A mere human could not give birth to a GOD.]
If we speak of God in His Spirit form (cf Jn 4:24), then it is true that a mere human being could not give birth to God in His Spirit form.
But if we speak of God in the form of a servant, in the likeness of men, then it is NOT true that a mere human being could not give birth to God in the form of a servant, in the likeness of men.
The latter was the case of Jesus Christ.
In the beginning, the Christ, also known as the Word, was God.  And being God, the Word (Christ) was Spirit because God is Spirit.  Here are the pertinent passages:
In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.  He was present originally with God.  All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.  (Jn 1:1-3, Amplified Bible)
No man has ever seen God at any time; the only unique Son, or the only begotten God, Who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence] of the Father, He has declared Him [He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known].  (Jn 1:18, AMP)
God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).  (Jn 4:24, AMP)
Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:]  Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained, But stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being.  (Phil 2:5-7, AMP)
[A being called as a parent of a GOD, must also be a GOD.]
If we speak of God in His Spirit form (cf Jn 4:24), then it is true that a being called as a parent of GOD in His Spirit form, must also be a GOD in His Spirit form, for only Spirit begets Spirit.
But if we speak of God in the form of a servant, in the likeness of men, then it is NOT true that a being called as a parent of GOD in the form of a servant, in the likeness of men, must also be GOD in His Spirit form, for Spirit cannot beget flesh and blood.
Let me elaborate.
>God (the Father) in Spirit form begets God (the Son) in Spirit form.  Spirit from Spirit, God from God.
God the Father reminisced when His Son who was God came out (begotten) from Him before the world began:
In this psalm of David, the LORD (the Father) was talking to the Lord (the Son):
The LORD says to you, my lord: “Take your throne at my righthand, while I make your enemies your footstool.”  The scepter of your sovereign might the LORD will extend from Zion.  The LORD says: “Rule over your enemies!  Yours is princely power from the day of your birth.  In holy splendor before the daystar, like the dew I begot you.”  The LORD has sworn and will not waver: “Like Melchizedek you are a priest forever.”  (Ps 110:1-4, New American Bible)
NAB Footnote on PS 110:3: Before the daystar: possibly an expression for before the world began (Prov 8:22).
The Son who was God narrates when He came out (begotten) from the Father:
For the Father Himself [tenderly] loves you because you have loved Me and have believed that I came out from the Father.  I came out from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father.  His disciples said, Ah, now You are speaking plainly to us and not in parables (veiled language and figures of speech)!  Now we know that You are acquainted with everything and have no need to be asked questions. Because of this we believe that you [really] came from God.  Jesus answered them, Do you now believe? [Do you believe it at last?]  (Jn 16:27-31, AMP)
>God (the Father) in Spirit form cannot beget God (the Son) in the form of a servant, in the likeness of men because Spirit cannot beget flesh and blood.  That is why God send the angel Gabriel to woo human being Mary for her consent to become the mother of God (the Son) in the form of a servant, in the likeness of men, as only a human being can beget flesh and blood, in this wise:
Now in the sixth month [after that], the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee named Nazareth, To a girl never having been married and a virgin engaged to be married to a man whose name was Joseph, a descendant of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.  And he came to her and said, Hail, O favored one [endued with grace]! The Lord is with you!  Blessed (favored of God) are you before all other women!  But when she saw him, she was greatly troubled and disturbed and confused at what he said and kept revolving in her mind what such a greeting might mean.  And the angel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found grace (free, spontaneous, absolute favor and loving-kindness) with God.  And listen! You will become pregnant and will give birth to a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus.  He will be great (eminent) and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to Him the throne of His forefather David, And He will reign over the house of Jacob throughout the ages; and of His reign there will be no end.  And Mary said to the angel, How can this be, since I have no [intimacy with any man as a] husband?  Then the angel said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you [like a shining cloud]; and so the holy (pure, sinless) Thing (Offspring) which shall be born of you will be called the Son of God.  And listen! Your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is now the sixth month with her who was called barren.  For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.  Then Mary said, Behold, I am the handmaiden of the Lord; let it be done to me according to what you have said. And the angel left her.  (Lk 1:26-38, AMP)
Right after Mary heard the word of God, through the angel Gabriel, and obey and practice it (cf Lk 11:28) by giving her wholehearted consent to become the mother of God (the Son) in the form of a servant, in the likeness of men, the Holy Spirit came upon her and formed the zygote of God (the Son) in the form of a servant, in the likeness of men in her womb.
Here are the pertinent passages:
Now it occurred that as He was saying these things, a certain woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, Blessed (happy and to be envied) is the womb that bore You and the breasts that You sucked!  But He said, Blessed (happy and to be envied) rather are those (referring to Mary whose consent to become the mother of the Savior ushered in the redemption era) who hear the Word of God and obey and practice it!  (Lk 11:27-28, AMP, emphasis mine)
Hence, when He [Christ] entered into the world, He said, Sacrifices and offerings You have not desired, but instead You have made ready a body for Me [to offer]; (Heb 10:5, AMP)
God the Father, through the Holy Spirit, made ready a body for the Christ, the Word who was God and Spirit, that is why the Holy Spirit was responsible for the conception of God (the Son) in the form of a servant, in the likeness of men in the womb of Mary:
Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place under these circumstances: When His mother Mary had been promised in marriage to Joseph, before they came together, she was found to be pregnant [through the power] of the Holy Spirit.  And her [promised] husband Joseph, being a just and upright man and not willing to expose her publicly and to shame and disgrace her, decided to repudiate and dismiss (divorce) her quietly and secretly.  But as he was thinking this over, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, descendant of David, do not be afraid to take Mary [as] your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of (from, out of) the Holy Spirit.  (Mt 1:18-20, AMP)
Simultaneously, when the Holy Spirit made ready a body for the Christ in the womb of Mary, God the Father sent the Son, the Word who was God and Spirit, into the newly formed holy zygote in the womb of Mary to be made of her into the form of a servant, in the likeness of men, that we might receive the adoption of sons by God the Father, in this wise:
But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.  (Gal 4:4-5, KJV)
Thus, going back to the original question: Is “A being called as a parent of a GOD, must also be a GOD”?
The answer is NO.
A being called as a parent of God (Jesus) in the form of a servant, in the likeness of men CANNOT BE GOD because God which is Spirit has no flesh and blood to share with God (Jesus) so He can become in the form of a servant, in the likeness of men.
THEREFORE, a being called as a parent of God (Jesus) in the form of a servant, in the likeness of men SHOULD NOT BE GOD BUT A HUMAN BEING because only a human being, like Mary, who has flesh and blood can share it with God (Jesus) so that God (Jesus) can become in the form of a servant, in the likeness of men, in order for God, in the Person of Jesus, can taste death for everyone, that through death He might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil.
Here are the pertinent passages:
God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).  (Jn 4:24, AMP)
See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself! Feel and handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see that I have.  And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet.  (Lk 24:39-40, AMP)
What we do see is Jesus, who was given a position “a little lower than the angels”; and because he suffered death for us, he is now “crowned with glory and honor.” Yes, by God’s grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone.  (Heb 2:9, NLT)
Since, therefore, [these His] children share in flesh and blood [in the physical nature of human beings], He [Himself] (Christ) in a similar manner partook of the same [nature], that by [going through] death He might bring to nought and make of no effect him who had the power of death—that is, the devil— (Heb 2:14, AMP, emphasis mine)
So now Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters.  For he said to God, “I will proclaim your name to my brothers and sisters.  I will praise you among your assembled people.” He also said, “I will put my trust in him,” that is, “I and the children God has given me.”  Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death.  Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.  (Hebrews 2:11-15, New Living Translation)
