MARY IS THE MOTHER OF THE WORD (CHRIST) WHO IN THE BEGINNING [BEFORE ALL TIME] WAS WITH GOD AND WAS GOD HIMSELF!
BIBLE QUOTES FROM THE AMPLIFIED BIBLE (PROTESTANT VERSION):
• In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.  He was present originally with God.  (Jn 1:1-2)
• For to which of the angels did [God] ever say, You are My Son, today I have begotten You [established You in an official Sonship relation, with kingly dignity]? And again, I will be to Him a Father, and He will be to Me a Son?  Moreover, when He brings the firstborn Son again into the habitable world, He says, Let all the angels of God worship Him.  Referring to the angels He says, [God] Who makes His angels winds and His ministering servants flames of fire; But as to the Son, He says to Him, Your throne, O God, is forever and ever (to the ages of the ages), and the scepter of Your kingdom is a scepter of absolute righteousness (of justice and straightforwardness).  (Heb 1:5-8)
• No man has ever seen God at any time; the only unique Son, or the only begotten God, Who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence] of the Father, He has declared Him [He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known].  (Jn 1:18)
• But when the proper time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born subject to [the regulations of] the Law, To purchase the freedom of (to ransom, to redeem, to atone for) those who were subject to the Law, that we might be adopted and have sonship conferred upon us [and be recognized as God’s sons].  And because you [really] are [His] sons, God has sent the [Holy] Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba (Father)! Father!  Therefore, you are no longer a slave (bond servant) but a son; and if a son, then [it follows that you are] an heir by the aid of God, through Christ.  (Gal 4:4-7)
• But as to the Son, He says to Him, Your throne, O God, is forever and ever (to the ages of the ages), and the scepter of Your kingdom is a scepter of absolute righteousness (of justice and straightforwardness).  You have loved righteousness [You have delighted in integrity, virtue, and uprightness in purpose, thought, and action] and You have hated lawlessness (injustice and iniquity).  Therefore God, [even] Your God (Godhead), has anointed You with the oil of exultant joy and gladness above and beyond Your companions.   And [further], You, Lord, did lay the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the works of Your hands.  (Heb 1:8-10)
• Now in the sixth month [after that], the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a town of Galilee named Nazareth, To a girl never having been married and a virgin engaged to be married to a man whose name was Joseph, a descendant of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.  And he came to her and said, Hail, O favored one endued with grace]! The Lord is with you! Blessed (favored of God) are you before all other women!  But when she saw him, she was greatly troubled and disturbed and confused at what he said and kept revolving in her mind what such a greeting might mean.  And the angel said to her, Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found grace (free, spontaneous, absolute favor and loving-kindness) with God.  And listen! You will become pregnant and will give birth to a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus.  He will be great (eminent) and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to Him the throne of His forefather David,  And He will reign over the house of Jacob throughout the ages; and of His reign there will be no end.  And Mary said to the angel, How can this be, since I have no [intimacy with any man as a] husband?  Then the angel said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you [like a shining cloud]; and so the holy (pure, sinless) Thing (Offspring) which shall be born of you will be called the Son of God.  (Lk 1:26-35)
• But as he was thinking this over, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, descendant of David, do not be afraid to take Mary [as] your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of (from, out of) the Holy Spirit.  She will bear a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus [the Greek form of the Hebrew Joshua, which means Savior], for He will save His people from their sins [that is, prevent them from [a]failing and missing the true end and scope of life, which is God].  All this took place that it might be fulfilled which the Lord had spoken through the prophet, Behold, the virgin shall become pregnant and give birth to a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel—which, when translated, means, God with us.  (Mt 1:20-23)
• And it occurred that when Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with and controlled by the Holy Spirit.  And she cried out with a loud cry, and then exclaimed, Blessed (favored of God) above all other women are you! And blessed (favored of God) is the Fruit of your womb!  And how [have I deserved that this honor should] be granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?  (Lk 1:41-43)
• And Joseph also went up from Galilee from the town of Nazareth to Judea, to the town of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David, To be enrolled with Mary, his espoused (married) wife, who was about to become a mother.  And while they were there, the time came for her delivery, And she gave birth to her Son, her Firstborn; and she wrapped Him in swaddling clothes and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room or place for them in the inn.
And in that vicinity there were shepherds living [out under the open sky] in the field, watching [in shifts] over their flock by night.  And behold, an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the glory of the Lord flashed and shone all about them, and they were terribly frightened.  But the angel said to them, Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people.  For to you is born this day in the town of David a Savior, Who is Christ (the Messiah) the Lord!  (Lk 2:4-11)
• And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.  (Jn 1:14)
• And great and important and weighty, we confess, is the hidden truth (the mystic secret) of godliness. He [God] was made visible in human flesh, justified and vindicated in the [Holy] Spirit, was seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, [and] taken up in glory.  (1 Tm 3:16)
 SUMMARY:
• In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.  He was present originally with God.  (Jn 1:1-2)
(Jn 1:14)
• Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place under these circumstances: When His mother Mary had been promised in marriage to Joseph, before they came together, she was found to be pregnant [through the power] of the Holy Spirit.  (Mt 1:18)
• On the third day there was a wedding at Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.  Jesus also was invited with His disciples to the wedding.  And when the wine was all gone, the mother of Jesus said to Him, They have no more wine!  (Jn 2:1-3)
• But by the cross of Jesus stood His mother, His mother’s sister, Mary the [wife] of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.  So Jesus, seeing His mother there, and the disciple whom He loved standing near, said to His mother, [Dear] woman, See, [here is] your son!  Then He said to the disciple, See, [here is] your mother! And from that hour, the disciple took her into his own [keeping, own home].  (Jn 19:25-27)

BIBLE QUOTES FROM THE LIVING BIBLE BY TYNDALE (PROTESTANT VERSION):
 • BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE existed, there was Christ, with God.  He has always been alive and is himself God.  (Jn 1:1-2)
• For God never said to any angel, “You are my Son, and today I have given you the honor that goes with that name.”  But God said it about Jesus.  Another time he said, “I am his Father and he is my Son.”  And still another time – when his firstborn Son came to earth – God said, “Let all the angels of God worship him.”  God speaks of his messengers swift as the wind and as servants made of flaming fire; but of His Son he says, “Your kingdom, O God, will last forever and ever; its commands are always just and right.  (Heb 1:5-8)
• No one has ever actually seen God, but, of course, his only Son has, for he is the companion of the Father and has told us all about him.  (Jn 1:18)
• And that is the way it was with us before Christ came.  We were slaves to Jewish laws and rituals for we thought they could save us.  But when the right time came, the time God decided on, he sent his Son, born of a woman, born as a Jew, to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law so that he could adopt us as his very own sons.  And because we are his sons God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, so now we can rightly speak of God as our dear Father.  Now we are no longer slaves, but God’s own sons.  And since we are his sons, everything he has belongs to us, for that is the way God planned.  (Gal 4:3-7)
• But of his Son he says, “Your kingdom, O God, will last forever and ever; its commands are always just and right.  You love right and hate wrong; so God, even your God, has poured out more gladness upon you than on anyone else.”  God also called him “Lord” when he said, “Lord, in the beginning you made the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.”  (Heb 1:8-10)
• The following month God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a village in Galilee, to a virgin, Mary, engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David.  Gabriel appeared to her and said, “Congratulations, favored lady!  The Lord is with you!”  Confused and disturbed, mary tried to think what the angel could mean.  “Don’t be frightened, Mary,” the angel told her, “for God has decided to wonderfully bless you!  Very soon now, you will become pregnant and have a baby boy, and you are to name him ‘Jesus.’  He shall be very great and shall be called the Son of God.  And the Lord God shall give him the throne of his ancestor David.  And he shall reign over Israel forever; his Kingdom shall never end!”  Mary asked the angel, “But how can I have a baby?  I am a virgin.”  The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of God shall overshadow you; so the baby born to you will be utterly holy – the Son of God.”  (Lk 1:26-35)
• As he lay awake considering this, he fell into a dream, and saw an angel standing beside him.  “Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “don’t hesitate to take Mary as your wife!  For the child within her has been conceived by the Holy Spirit.  And she will have a Son, and you shall name him Jesus (meaning ‘Savior’), for he will save his people from their sins.  This will fulfill God’s message through his peophets – ‘Listen!  The virgin shall conceive a child!  She shall give birth to a Son, and he shall be called “Emmanuel” (meaning “God is with us”).’”  (Mt 1:20-23)
• At the sound of Mary’s greeting, Elizabeth’s child leaped within her and she was filled with the Holy Spirit.  She gave a glad cry and exclaimed to Mary, “You are favored by God above all other women, and your child is destined for God’s mightiest praise.  What an honor that is, that the mother of my Lord should visit me!”  (Lk 1:41-43)
• And because Joseph was a member of the royal line, he had to go to Bethlehem in Judea, King David’s ancient home – journeying there from the Galilean village of Nazareth.  He took with him Mary, his fiancée, who was obviously pregnant by this time.  And while they were there, the time came for her baby to be born; and she gave birth to her first child, a son.  She wrapped him in a blanket and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the village inn.
That night some shepherds were in the fields outside the village, guarding their flocks of sheep.  Suddenly an angel appeared among them, and the landscape shone bright with the glory of the Lord.  They were badly frightened, but the angel reassured them.  “Don’t be afraid!” he said.  “I bring you the most joyful news ever announced, and it is for everyone!  The Savior – yes, the Messiah, the Lord – has been born tonight in Bethlehem!”  (Lk 2:4-11)
• And Christ became a human being and lived here on earth among us and was full of loving forgiveness and truth.  And some of us have seen his glory – the glory of the only Son of the heavenly Father!  (Jn 1:14)
• It is quite true that the way to live a godly life is not an easy matter.  But the answer lies in Christ, who came to earth as a man, was proved spotless and pure in his Spirit, was served by angels, was preached among the nations, was accepted by men everywhere and was received up again to his glory in heaven.  (1 Tm 3:16)

• These are the facts concerning the birth of Jesus Christ: His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph.  But while she was still a virgin she became pregnant by the Holy Spirit.  (Mt 1:18)
• TWO DAYS LATER Jesus’ mother was a guest at a wedding in the village of Cana in Galilee, and Jesus and his disciples were invited too.  The wine supply ran out during the festivities, and Jesus’ mother came to him with the problem.  (Jn 2:1-3)
• So that is what they did.  Standing near the cross were Jesus’ mother, Mary, his aunt, the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.  When Jesus saw his mother standing there beside me, his close friend, he said to her, “He is your son.”  And to me he said, “She is your mother!”  And from then on I took her into my home.  (Jn 19:25-27)
