Is Mary the Mother of God?
Mr. Gerry Soliman of Solutions Finder Apologetics, a puny born again cult apologist, was perturbed with our confutation of his refutation on the Mother of God Syllogisms, so he came out with his own ludicrous counter-refutation which only exposes his serpentine deceptive cunningness and total ignorance of the Bible anent the Divine Motherhood of Mary.

.
Mr. Soliman titled his counter-refutation, “Responding to the bizarre Arguments of Aquino Bayani,” for the obvious reason that he just don’t have the faculty to fathom God’s wisdom which is mysterious and hidden from the likes of him (1 Cor 2:7).
Protestants have rejected and denied the truth of the Divine Motherhood of Mary but have instead approved the wrongdoing of attacking and abhorring the Mother of God, therefore, God is sending them a deceiving power so that they may believe the lie and may be condemned (2 Thes 2:11-12).
That’s why the Holy Spirit – the Spirit of Truth whom Jesus promised to send (Jn 15:26, 16:13) – guides the Catholics to all truths but shuns the Protestants. Thus, it was to the defenders of the Catholic Faith and the Truth of God that the mind of
Christ (1 Cor 2:9-16) was given:
{9 But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed].
10 Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man’s scrutiny].
11 For what person perceives (knows and understands) what passes through a man’s thoughts except the man’s own spirit within him? Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend) the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have not received the spirit [that belongs to] the world, but the [Holy] Spirit Who is from God, [given to us] that we might realize and comprehend and appreciate the gifts [of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly] bestowed on us by God.
13 And we are setting these truths forth in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the [Holy] Spirit, combining and interpreting spiritual truths with spiritual language [to those who possess the Holy Spirit].
14 But the natural, nonspiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him; and he is incapable of knowing them [of progressively recognizing, understanding, and becoming better acquainted with them] because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated.
15 But the spiritual man tries all things [he examines, investigates, inquires into, questions, and discerns all things], yet is himself to be put on trial and judged by no one [he can read the meaning of everything, but no one can properly discern or appraise or get an insight into him].
16 For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart. (1 Cor 2:9-16, Amplified Bible)}
The Bible is clear: Mr. Soliman [and all Protestants as a whole] is but the natural person who does not accept what pertains to the Spirit of God, for to him it is foolishness, and he cannot understand it, because it is judged spiritually. This
is the reason why Mr. Soliman referred to my words taught by the Holy Spirit,
describing spiritual realities in spiritual terms as bizarre. Mr. Soliman and his ilk just cannot grasp spiritual realities, so much so that he conveniently branded it bizarre like it’s just another Ripleys’ Believe it or not oddities.
All these controversies boil down to whether Mary is the Mother of God or not. To us Catholics who have the mind of Christ, Mary is the Mother of God, but to the Protestants to whom God sent the deceiving power, Mary is not the Mother of God.
In aid to our lost Protestant friends, I’ll explain briefly: How can the infinite God have a finite mother and become a finite man? If you think like an idiot, that is impossible. But if you think as one who has faith like the Catholics do (Mk 9:23), all things are possible to God but not for human beings (Mt 19:26; Mk 10:27, 14:36). Actually, it’s not really that complicated, but rather, it’s easily graspable, provided the Holy Spirit is in you. Here’s how the infinite God had a finite mother and became a finite man:
In the infinite beginning, God was alone but not solitary. He was the eternal Father as His eternal Son has always been in His bosom (Jn 1:18, KJV, DRV). Then God the Father begot God the Son before the daystar, that is, in the beginning before all creations (Ps 110:3, NAB, DRV, Aramaic Bible):
{The Lord said to my Lord: Sit thou at my right hand: Until I make thy enemies thy footstool. The Lord will send forth the sceptre of thy power out of Sion: rule thou in the midst of thy enemies. With thee is the principality in the day of thy strength: in the brightness of the saints: from the womb before the day star I begot thee. (Ps 110:1-3, DRV)}
Thus, the one God became two, that is, the Father and the Son, the Begetter and the Begotten. And between the Father and the Son, proceeds the Holy Spirit (Jn 15:26; 1 Cor 2:12). Since the Father and the Son are one (Jn 10:30), and the Holy Spirit proceeds from them both, then the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are one God, ie, one uncreated Spirit:
{So there are three witnesses in heaven: the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, and these three are One. (1 Jn 5:7, AMP; cf Mt 28:19)}
The Father designated the Son to do all His Creation Project and to become a human being so he can taste death for everyone (Gal 4:4-5; Heb 2:9). The first creation of God the Son [the uncreated Spirit] was His own Divine Soul, and this is the reason why He was called the firstborn of all creation, creator of all things and precedes all things (Col 1:15-17). Then, God the Son infused Himself [the uncreated Spirit] into His Divine Soul to invigorate It (Wis 15:11), and this is the reason why He was called the formed God:
{You are My witnesses, says the Lord, and My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know Me, believe Me and remain steadfast to Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Me. (Isa 43:10, AMP)}
NB: The God formed cannot be the Father because He is the purely uncreated Spirit, and besides, no one have ever heard His voice nor seen His form (Jn 5:37).
The formed God the Son was revealed to the spirit of John, who was whisked into Paradise (2 Cor 12:2-4; Rev 4:1-2), as the Word of God (Rev 19:13), that when he wrote the Gospel, John referred to God the Son aka Christ as the Word, for brevity:
{In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. (Jn 1:1, AMP)}
God is Spirit (Jn 4:24) while man is composed of spirit, soul and body (1 Thes 5:23). In order for God the Son [the uncreated Spirit] to become man, He must have a soul and a body. That is why, in the beginning before all creations, He created first His own Divine Soul, into which He infused His uncreated Spirit. And when the fullness of time had come, God the Father sent God the Son [the formed God composed of uncreated Spirit and Divine Soul], to be conceived, gestated and born of the Blessed Virgin Mary (cf Is 9:5; Gal 4:4).
Therefore, the infinite God the Son had a finite mother and became a finite man, but only in a limited time (Heb 2:7-9), that is, while He [the uncreated Spirit and His Divine Soul] has the corruptible body (Wis 9:15). But after His resurrection, His corruptible body was raised incorruptible, glorious, powerful and spiritual body (1 Cor 15:42-44). That’s when [he who “for a little while” was made “lower than the angels (Heb 2:9),”] was restored of His being the infinite God the Son, after the Father had given Him all power in heaven and on earth (Mt 28:18). If it says “all power in heaven and on earth has been given to the Son,” does it mean, “no power was left to the Father?” No, it means all power in heaven and on earth now again belongs to the Father and the Son Who is one.
Irrefutably, the Blessed Virgin Mary was the Mother of the Person of God the Son [composed of uncreated Spirit, Divine Soul and Holy Body].
Moreover, the Blessed Virgin Mary is truly the Mother of God, because the Father and the Son are one (Jn 10:30) and the Holy Spirit proceed from them both, and the three are one God, one Spirit (1 Jn 5:7, AMP; cf Mt 28:19). In fact, God the Son was called the Wonder-Counselor, the God-Hero, the Father-Forever, the Prince of
Peace (Isa 9:5), and even an undisclosed name (Rev 19:12), which when revealed,
will surely surprise us even more.
Conclusion:
Jesus Christ is God because His uncreated Spirit is God. The Person of Jesus Christ (Spirit, Soul, and Body) was conceived, gestated and born of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Thus, beyond reasonable doubt, the Blessed Virgin Mary is truly the Mother of God. Only the lost and the depraved fatuous nincompoops reject and deny Mary is the Mother of God.
