EDUCATING MANOLISTANG PULPOL RESBAK, alias CONRADO J.
OBLIGACION, ON THE MOTHER OF GOD PART 2
Resbak said:
MARY, “MOTHER” OF GOD?
Mary as the “Mother” of God? Mind boggling! Is this apostolic? Absolutely not! Let’s check:
If Mary was the mother of God:
• she should have existed before the creation. She did not.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
• God made both male and female. Mary did not come before creation.
“But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’
• God is eternal and everlasting. God does not have a beginning, therefore the belief that God was conceived and born is absurd.
O LORD, are you not from everlasting? My God,
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God,
be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

My rebuttal:
Like all the Protestant denominations and sects from whence his iglesia ni cristo cult originated, Resbak is no better off in fathoming the mystery of the Divine Motherhood of Mary, because God is sending them a deceiving power so that they may believe the lie, that all who have not believed the truth but have approved wrongdoing may be condemned (2Thes 2:11-12).
To the unlearned, Mary, or any woman for that matter, cannot be the mother of God, because it is impossible for God, who is eternal and everlasting, to be conceived and born by an ephemeral human being.
But these poor depraved souls are forgetting one very important and inescapable truth, and that is, nothing is impossible to God (JER 32:17). If God wanted to be conceived and born of a woman, then it can be done, though for human beings this is impossible, but for God all things are possible (MT 19:26; MK 10:27; LK 18:27).
God is Spirit (JN 4:24), whereas man is spirit, soul, and body (1Thes 5:23).
God who is Spirit is uncreated, while man who is spirit, soul, and body is created.
Before His incarnation, Christ, Himself God, already existed with God, as testified by John in this wise:
In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. (JN 1:1, Amplified Bible)
Christ is God because His uncreated Spirit is that of God (JN 4:24).
In the beginning, Christ is Spirit and Soul without a body yet (ISA 42:1; 43:10, AMP, KJV).
The Soul of Christ is the firstborn of all creation (COL 1:15) and He precedes the soul of the first man, Adam, by eons upon eons. Adam was the first man (1COR 15:45; 1TM 2:13), and Mary was his descendant.
As Spirit-Soul, the origin of Christ was from eternity, from everlasting (MIC 5:2, see also: http://biblehub.com/micah/5-2…. , and He is before all things, and in him all things hold together (COL 1:17). But as God who became flesh (JN 1:14; 1TM 3:16, KJV), Adam and Mary precedes the Lord God Jesus Christ in becoming flesh.
The Lord God Jesus Christ is the Spiritual Adam, as contrasted with the natural Adam in this passage:
So, too, it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living being,” the last Adam a life-giving spirit. But the spiritual was not first; rather the natural and then the spiritual. The first man was from the earth, earthly; the second man, from heaven. (1COR 15:45-47)
NB: Though the Spiritual (Christ) came from eternity from heaven, the natural Adam became man first in time on earth, followed afterwards by the Spiritual Adam (Christ) who also became man in time on earth (JN 1:14; 1TM 3:16; GAL 4:4, KJV).
Thus, if Adam was the ancestor of God (Christ) Who was made and manifested into flesh (JN 1:14; 1TM 3:16, KJV), then, without doubt, Mary is the mother of the same God (LK 1:43; ROM 9:5).
Therefore, the false knowledge of Resbak about the Mother of God falls flat in his face.
